I apologize for not having kept in touch, but New York has been amazing and wonderful! I forgot how much I enjoy this city, even though I absolutely love being home in London. I have not forgotten you, Morag! I picked up a Christmas gift for you this afternoon even!
The show has been going wonderfully and I have had a few ideas of what I want to do when this one ends and Sid and I come back to London.
We're still not dating, sigh. Wait, I bet no one really cares about that. Guh-I took photos! I apologize that they do not move, but I didn't have the right kind of camera out here.
I have had
Starbucks every morning without fail. Macchiato with a shot of peppermint, delicious! And I swear that Christmas is everywhere. There was a Christmas party at Sarah Lawrence for the faculty and, since Nanny is a professor there, I went with her and got to catch up with my old professors. Sid got to see the campus, too, which was a really lovely tour. Gran had a few too many eggnogs and is apparently
best friends with Santa now.
Sid and I went
ice skating last Saturday. I tell you, there is no better way to spend the afternoon than going ice skating in Rockefeller Plaza. Yesterday, it was snowing like
crazy! We took a carriage ride in one of
these. Again, I forgot how much I like Christmas in New York. The snow is beautiful, the buildings are gorgeous, the lights, the atmosphere...it's all simply mind-blowing!
And we cannot forget about the infamous
Christmas tree. It's wonderful as ever! Sid and I have a smaller tree in the flat we are sharing while we're here, but I love going to see the Rockefeller tree at night.
Anyway, I've got a show in a few hours, so I need to make my way to wardrobe. I can't wait to see everyone in the New Year! Morag, I miss you terribly!
